5th ANNUAL ESSENCE OF POETRY...
...takes over the historic Douglass Theatre stage on November 7th, for an unforgettable evening where poetry, live music, theatrical expression, and mental health advocacy converge. Presented in partnership with the Douglass Theatre, this signature production uses the arts to open conversations around mental and behavioral wellness, resilience, identity, and the power of being heard.
The event features spoken word artists, live musicians, vocalists, and theatrical elements. The Audience will experience poetry not simply as something heard, but as something felt, seen, and lived.
