Back by popular demand, Alonia, "The Silky Songstress" is delighted to present SONGS IN THE KEY OF "A" - Part 2. This exciting production was originally presented in September 2023. With concert goers still excited about its great success, this show promises to be nothing less than spectacular.
SONGS IN THE KEY OF "A" will feature Alonia's melodious sound of flavorful soul as she delivers covers of some amazing, nostalgic songs from an array of genres to include R&B, Pop, and Gospel. There just may be a surprise of new music.
The Silky Songstress' live band is under the direction of the highly accomplished Edwin Williams, founder of Jazz Matters. Her dazzling and phenomenal background vocalists - Ashley Perrymond, J. Renee, and Kristy Samantha - will bring to the stage the just right blend of perfect harmony. Collectively, they are all a force to be reckoned with.
Additionally, the show will be opened by the soulful sounds of J. Henry, the talented saxophonist whose vocals have been paralleled with Barry White and Teddy Pendergrass. And, of course, there will be a special tribute to Frankie Beverly.
