About the Show/Event Description:

Join us as we kick off Chicago Fashion Week powered by FashionBar LLC for our  Next Gen Show with emphasis on a safe COVID19 experience. This show will highlight our Student Designers showcasing the future of fashion by recent college graduates with a degree in Fashion Design; from top universities like the School of the Art Institute, Columbia College, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT, NYC), and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM, LA).  The vision is to lead our student designers into a path of success in the ever-changing fashion and apparel industry. This season Student Designers are Dmyia Williams with her ready to wear brand & Ganitzia Vargas as she showcases here upcycle and sustainable brand Ganitzia!  You will be joining us in supporting these upcoming designers and new faces full of potential as they share their  fashion identities and collections including all genres of fashion design.   

Attend The Show, walk the red carpet and at our VIP Cocktail reception, you can mix and mingle with fashion influencers and designers. There will be a reception featuring refreshing drinks and complimentary hors d'oeuvres an hour before the show begins.

Powered by FashionBar Chicago, this event is part of a week-long lineup of fantastic Fashion Week events as we present The Shows and The Marketplace. The Marketplace, a Chicago fashion experience, showcases amazing designers, apparel, and products, giving you fashion, wellness, and beauty in unique Chicago venues. Love the Fashion. • Theme: Student NextGEN

• Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

• Red Carpet and media interviews begin at 5:45 p.m.

• Cocktail Reception opens at 5:45 p.m.

• The 1st Show begins at  6:30 p.m - Ganitizia Vargas  

• Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

• The 2nd Show begins at 7:50 p.m -  Dmyia Williams  

• CLOSE at 9:00 p.m.
